Chika Okoro, is passionate about all things women of color and believe it is her calling to inspire Black women to find self-love, self-worth, and experience the healing that enables them to have the confidence to live the full expression of themselves.
In 2015, while getting her MBA at Stanford, Chika came across a casting call for the movie, Straight Outta Compton” that openly discriminated against dark skinned Black women. Seeing this motivated her to give a TEDx talk raising awareness of the issue of colorism and how women of color can still have self confidence despite the prejudice in society. That talk has been viewed over 1 million times, translated to 6 different languages. Let’s talk about Colorism
